Homes For Birds!
Join group members and the rangers from Derbyshire Countryside Service for some half term fun on the Green from 1-3pm. We shall be making mini bird tables and bird feeders. There will be lots of fun activities and games to enjoy! All welcome.

Founder member Seymour Bell will be accepting a South Derbyshire Volunteering Award at Civic Offices, Swadlinmcote on behalf of the group.
We shall be attending the 2011 launch of the Wild-Derby programme in the presence of the Mayor of Derby. Afterwards we shall be visiting Sinfin Moor Park and Nature Reserve.

A walk from Sinfin Shopping centre through countryside and alongside the Trent & Mersey canal. We shall be looking at our wildlife sites before returning to the shopping centre. Meet by the recycling centre at 10am. This walk is about 5 miles. This walk is part of the Wild-Derby programme.

We shall be hosting this meeting of the Forum in conjunction with British Waterways. There will be a chance to learn about the safe handling of tools and to join in with some practical activities.
