SDDC Environmental Forum meeting!  An overview of the work of Derbyshire Countryside Service with a focus on access to the countryside.  Swadlincote Town Hall, 7pm

20th October 2010 

Fungus Foray!  Join fungus expert Beverley Rhodes from Derby City Council as she helps us to spot and identify our fungii. All welcome.  Findern Village Green 2pm

12th September 2010 

From City to Countryside  Join us for a 4 mile linear walk to Findern and back, through farmland which enjoys panoramic views over Derby. On the walk you will pass the site of a former priory where the remains of the monk’s fishponds can still be seen. This walk is over fields which may be very muddy and undulating, with several stiles. There is livestock in the fields, so no dogs please except registered assistance dogs. Refreshments will be available in Findern before returning by the same route.  Derby Moor Sports College, Littleover GR SK327330
